Reiki Levels 1 & 2 Practitioner

Reiki is an ancient energetic healing art that can be learned & practiced by anyone. In Reiki Levels 1&2 students will be taught how to ground and anchor their own energy to enable them to become open and effective conduits of Reiki. They will be introduced and attuned to three traditional Reiki symbols as well as three non-traditional symbols. Students will learn protocols to work on themselves, with others and to send Reiki distant healing.

This four day intensive program will focus on a Table Shiatsu treatment of front and back including a neck and shoulder release. Students will discover how to use correct pressure, body positioning, and timing while using their thumbs, fingers, palms and elbows. Participants will be taught 30 main acupressure points, meridian pathways, and the location and use of source points. Theory will consist of history, yin and yang, and the flow of chi/ki (energy). Indications and contraindications will be discussed.

The Five Element Theory recognizes each person as a unique combination of the 5 Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water). This theory brings a vision and understanding of how to assess and treat the roots of illness, whether on a body, mind or spirit level. In this workshop students will be introduced to the 5 Element Theory and taught how to nourish and sedate the elements.

Acupressure Oil Massage

Discover how to combine Acupressure points and an awareness of the meridians (energy pathways) in a relaxing, balancing & energizing oil massage. Students will be taught how to glide and flow over the body releasing tension as they go. Acupressure Oil Massage is performed with the client unclothed and draped on a massage table.
